Pre-Birthday Celebration 1: Black Thursday

My brother has been promising me since the start of September that he'll treat me dinner and take me to a salon for my birthday. It's pretty much the same as last year, but this time, he tagged his girlfriend along. That means more talk and cuteness hahahaha -- gotta say his girlfriend's really adorable, with her little voice and size and gestures.

What made me happy was their surprise: BOTH OF THEM AGREED TO WEAR BLACK! FOR ME! Sadly, I was only wearing my uniform because it was a school day. I just rode to the mall after my classes.

ASIAN FOOOOOOOOD! BECAUSE WE'RE ASIAAAAAAN ♥

I had a hearty meal, even more than filled, I can't even walk straight when we got up from our seats.

We headed to Annie's Spa & Salon next, where my brother treated me a deep facial cleansing. The pricking part made the night miserably memorable, It made me think that the United Nations haven't abolished Torture yet.

Loved the birthday treat. Sure did released happy hormones inside. Thanks bro! ♥

Pre-Birthday Surprise: A Candlelit Dinner ♥

September 2, 2013
Ian Roy has been my best friend ever since I started going through puberty. And since then, my life started to change. With Ian Roy, everyday seemed to be another adventure.

I have the best-est best friend ever. It was supposed to be just some movie night on a random school day with his loud young aunt Shiela and my boyfriend Michael. Who would've thought a romantic surprise was well-planned?

Ian and Michael are just about the most random idiots in the world (but I think Ian is even more random, it's his field of expertise). They just met, yet they've been calling each other the oddest names and insults on facebook or through texting at the most random times each day.

"You got a rotten face."
"Your face looks like a plant pot!"
"Your face looks like a frog's."
"Your FEET got molds and moss."
"YOUR FACE got molds and moss."
"Your face looks like a truck tire."
"Your face looks like a toilet!"
"Your face is made of mud!"
"Your mouth's got webs inside!"

But they never say a word to each other whenever the three of us are together. If either of them has something to say to one other, they say it THROUGH ME. So yeah, that's how weird and awkward it was. But add Ian's hilarious aunt Shiela to the picture, and it wouldn't be so bad.

Michael was actually just planning to go to Ian's house to borrow some DVDs, but considering the time and money it would take just to get there, I suggested watching a movie while we're there as well. AND since it's gonna take two hours to finish a movie, Ian said we'll just stay at his aunt's apartment and he'll offer us dinner.

Some time before MouseHunt was over, Ian went out, telling us he'll just go buy some food. But almost half an hour had passed since the credits rolled and he never got back. Michael and I started to get worried since it was already half past eight and it was a school day. We were both getting so worked up with what we're gonna say to our parents for going home late, when Ian Roy suddenly came in the room, saying, "Minxie, Michael, go up the rooftop, dinner's ready. I'll just catch up with you guys."

We weren't so surprised because we thought Shiela and him would just join us later. But when we got up the rooftop, we found a table for two. Only for TWO. Now THAT was when we got surprised. And the rooftop isn't just ANY rooftop. It was a balcony overlooking the city, sparkling and twinkling with all the lights at night. The glistening ocean and the dark mountains didn't seem so far either. Everything there that evening was unexpectedly beautiful. We stared at each other. Dumbfounded.

Shortly, Ian and his aunt came up, bringing all the utensils and food. MY BEST FRIEND WAS WEARING A CHEF'S FULL UNIFORM. I found it funny but I decided to shake it off because he worked so hard for the surprise. xD The table was elegantly set: ceramic plates, kitchenware, glasses and some flowers.

Michael and I didn't know what to say. As Ian lit the candle, I asked him, "What the hell has gotten into you? What brick hit your head?"

"It's almost your birthdayyyyyyyy. Don't you like it? :D"

I.. couldn't say anything.

Me and Shiela :3 I feel so bad sitting next to someone who has all that porcelain skin D':

Ian Roy hahahahahaha

Me, Michael and Ian :3
Yeah. I think I have the best-est best friend ever.

My Last Days of Being 17

Two first photos aren't mine. Fished them off from Google.

It's already September 7th and it's still my first September post. Yeah I feel bad about it too. But anyways, here's what I can say.. My teenage years are almost over -- I've only got less than nine days left to do something illegal without getting arrested. Haha.

For a lot of reasons, I love September. It's almost Christmas. The sun starts to hide. Halloween is just close ahead. I begin to think a lot about yellow, orange, and red foliage on the ground though autumn never exists from where I live. And yeah, my birthday's on September.

Sadly, as far as I can remember, I usually get sick during this time of year, I don't know why! :/ I sure hope I'll stay healthy this time because I have a lot of things planned for my 18th birthday. Aside from that, the university intramurals falls on the week of my birthday. I really hope nothing goes wrong :(

Anyhoo, the very event I've been looking forward to this month is the Graveyard Picnic I organized which will be on Friday the 13th as one of my Pre-Birthday celebrations. It's gonna be me, my best friend, and my baby bat. Think tea, a cake, and a picnic blanket amidst tombstones and trees :D

My best friend and I have scouted the venue yesterday for the perfect spot to lay the picnic blanket. Celestial Gardens (Owned by Tanchan Foundation Inc) sure is one of the most beautiful cemeteries I've visited so far, with all the big patches of grass, the life-size statues of angels, the intricately designed mausoleums, the slopes, the hills, the old trees, the flowers that fell on the gaps of stepping stones, the setting sun.. I'll post the pictures of the trip soon enough. ♥

Savoring my last days of being seventeen. I don't wanna grow up T.T

Celestial Gardens (A Cemetery)

This is probably one of the most breathtaking cemeteries I've ever been to. Can't say anything more.

The Celestial Gardens is owned and operated by the Tanchan Foundation, Inc. Although the property is mainly a private cemetery, it is better known for its very grand ’Stations of the Cross’. Each year, thousands of people visit the Celestial Gardens during the Holy Week.

Ian Roy, my disloyal photographer hahahahaha

Seems more of a pre-debut shoot than just some plain picnic spot searching! Hahahaha ♥ Try visiting this memorial park, bats! You'll love it :3
